It’s about time I posted a couple more students work from the exhibition so here are a couple of fantastic students who are very talented in textiles. They are both going on to the Surface Pattern course in Swansea Met.

This amazing doll and these illustrations are based on Roald Dahl’s poem ‘Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf’.
Catrin Thomas
These beautiful jars made of stitch are based on Catrin’s grandfather’s memories.

Fascinating work!
Those stitched handmade jars are incredible – so light and ethereal. Also the handmade doll and accompanying illustrations – I like the delicate way the artist wove and created those long hair braids on the doll. Nice post, Hannah – thanks for sharing w/ us.
