Broken

This is the result of one of the ceramic pieces you saw, in the process of being made, in my last post. It was meant to be a large bowl filled with words but, as with many things in life, it simply did not work the way it was meant to. Having said that I am still pleased with how it turned out. In a way the fragile broken pieces were a more appropriate representation of the nature of dyslexia.DSC_0930DSC_0931DSC_0934DSC_0935DSC_0929

  1. Very well illustrated ….with this gallery – they told me that I was dyslexia in school, but I was only too impatience – and jumped words .. to get quicker to the end.

    • Thank you!
I was told I was borderline dyslexic. I’ve always been into reading and I was given a lot of support so I’ve sort of been taught out of it but I do still have my times where I find it frustrating but there is definitely that impatience there too 🙂 I can certainly understand that.

    • Yes, I often find when things don’t work out exactly the way you want or expect it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work as a piece of art or an eye-opener. Thank you
